Easy recipe showing how to cook pork shanks on the barbecue until they're crispy, tender and juicy! It doesn't take more than good quality pork shanks, charcoals and a barbecue (we use a Weber charcoal grill).
Ingredients and remedies for 4 persons:
3 x Pork shanks, 1,2 kg. / 3 pounds a piece
Coarse (sea) salt
Neutral tasting oil (e.g. canola)
good charcoals (e.g. Heat Beeds)
Barbecue
Grill Chimney Starter
Sharp knife (for criss crossing the skin of the shanks)
Gripper (for turning the shanks)
