My first camping trip using my new Cumulus Quilt 250, showing its features and sharing my views.
This first camp gave me a variety of weather conditions, including cool winds in the night followed by temperatures rising up to over 25 Celsius in the shade the following morning. The quilt's pack size is crazy small, and it weighs next to nothing. The 850 fill power down makes it loft up really well, though I did find that the feathers can shift along the baffles enough to result in some thin spots. At the point of ordering via the Cumulus website, there is the option to have your quilt over-filled, which may reduce the tendency for feathers to migrate. I'm not sure if the Quilt 350 has less of a problem in this area. I don't think it will give me any major issues, as you can give the quilt a jiggle to re-distribute the feathers if need be.
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you'd like to support me on my quest to share my adventures with you all. It makes a really big difference to me and helps to kick me out of the house on these adventures!
