This bird seems to have a pretty good natural camouflage for some of the darker muddy areas that I have seen it walking about. Unfortunately the spotted pattern made me doubt whether or not my phone was in focus for some of these recordings. Also, the strange quivering or trembling of the leg which starts to become very pronounced at 1:38 seems to be just like the Hermit Thrush's trembling which I recorded. I suppose it is something akin to a deer stamping its foot when it gets nervous.
