The Farnborough Air Show 2018 offered lots of incredible highlights. The Airbus A350-1000 definitly was one of them. It was the first time I saw the longest version of the Airbus A350 in action and it was the biggest Airbus airplane in the flying display. I was quite surprised about the intense smoke trail which appeared when the pilots accelerated. you know what` s interesting? The Airbus A380 was not presented by Airbus and it was not in the flying display. Just the private operator Hifly brought in the A380 for the public days. I think we can finally say that Airbus gave up on trying to get new orders for the Airbus A380.
Currently there are only five active Airbus A350-1000 worldwide and two of them were present at Farnborough. Qatar sent one of there A350X aswell which arrived from Doha one day before the trade days began. The aircraft which passed the A350-1000 right at the beginning of the video was the Airbus A330neo which just finished its flying display. There will be a video of it too, but I am not that fast :D.
