A Carnatic Quartet were the finalé artistes on Day 1 of the FEA-curated and presented CUSP festival that was held in Chennai earlier this year.
The group consists of Shreya Devnath on violin, Mylai M Karthikeyan on nadhaswaram, Praveen Sparsh on mridangam and Gummudipoondi R Jeevanandham on thavil.
This video features the centrepiece of their recital that was a Patnam Subramanya Iyer composition entitled "Mariveredikkevaraiyya Rama" in Ragam Shanmukhapriya.
