Learn how to add custom shapes to Tableau plots -- even Bernie Sanders on a chair! In this Tableau Public tutorial video, I show you how to create a basic Tableau chart and add shapes on top of a line plot using a Tableau dual axis. I then walk you through changing your shapes to be a custom image by adding the shape file to "My Tableau Repository". I also show you how to remedy issues such as the shape not showing up and the Tableau custom shapes too small by changing the Tableau custom shape size. Finally, I demo how to turn on the Tableau synchronize axis option so that the shapes are matched up with the line.
