Support and Grow North East is a community centre in Shiremoor, North Tyneside, that is supporting people through the cost of living crisis. It's a warm hub, a food bank, an advice service and so much more. The Guardian saw how mouldy properties and prepayment meters are exacerbating problems for the most vulnerable people in the area and witnessed the emotional toll on the people providing support.
