The PE95421 is a High Reliability SPDT Switch designed for harsh environment and space applications.
This UltraCMOS® switch delivers an improved radiation hardness performance over its previous generation broadband switch. It is highly resistant to total dose and single event radiation effects, resulting in improved product reliability, as well as stable and predictable performance over the life of the mission. It operates up to 8.5 GHz covering the L, S and C-bands, and a portion of the X band. It also delivers exceptional isolation. The PE95421 features Low Power of 24 dBm across it's entire frequency range, high isolation of 48 dB at 3.0 GHz, and low insertion loss of 1.0 dB at 3.0 GHz. its single-pin 3.3V CMOS logic control in a single chip solution reduces the number of control lines.
Applications include switch matrix, antenna array, and any RF communication system. Some examples include the High reliability commercial satellite market and manned spacecraft & high altitude aircraft that all require high performance, radiation hardened components.
Other key features include high ESD of 1kV Human Body Model. It is offered in Die form and a hermetically sealed 7-lead Ceramic Flat Pack package.
The SPDT Switch evaluation board was designed to ease customer evaluation of Peregrine's PE95421.
