2 days of solo hiking on mountain Bjelašnica was such a special experience. It's not only because of the mountain, green valleys, serpentine rivers, but because of the especially good people I met during these two days exploring these beauties of nature. Somehow everything came together only when I returned home and the impressions settled.
I visited Lukomir on Bjelasnica Mountain, a remote village known as the highest and most isolated in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The journey offered breathtaking views of rugged landscapes and traditional stone houses that feel frozen in time. Exploring this mountain village gave me a unique glimpse into the region's rich culture and untouched natural beauty.
