Afghani Chicken Fry | Chicken Afghani Recipe | Mughlai Cuisine
Afghani cuisines are well known for lip-smacking and flavourful dishes. This recipe of Afghani chicken is no different. Twice marinated and distinctively flavoured with ingredients for an exquisite taste that’s hard to forget or give up ! This chicken recipe is mildly spicy and best enjoyed with some mint chutney and onion rings on thec side with coriander leaves and lemon squeezed over generously. It’s a great option to have as a starter or appetizer at a dinner party or any special occasion.

Ingredients :
Ist Marination :
600 gms Chicken, large pieces with bones (cleaned & given deep slits)
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper Powder
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
IInd Marination :
2 tbsp Fresh Cream
½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
2 to 3 tbsp Curd/Yogurt
1 tbsp Dry Fenugreek Powder (Kasuri Methi Powder) roasted & handcrushed
1 tsp Chaat Masala Powder
2 to 3 tbsp Cheese (diced or grated)
A pinch of Saffron colour
2 to 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil (for frying)
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
