Marcelo Marquez, 34, stole three cars as he scaled two Sacramento counties with a female accomplice today, according to Placer County Sheriff's Office. In the first of three attacks, he allegedly shot to death deputy Danny Oliver (bottom left), a 47-year-old father of two, in the parking lot of the Motel 6 at Arden and Ethan Way. During the other attacks, he reportedly killed Placer County sheriff Michael David Davis Jr (top left), injured another and badly wounded a motorist.
