STORYLINE:
Burials took place in Baghdad on Thursday for some of the 76 bodies found by Iraqi police the previous day (Wednesday).
Grieving families came to the morgue of Baghdad's al-Yarmouk hospital to collect their loved ones and take them to the cemetery for burial.
Coffins were seen being secured to the top of vehicles by relatives before making their way to the cemetery.
Some of the minibuses and cars with coffins secured on the roof, were seen leaving the hospital morgue heading towards cemetery.
On Wednesday, police found 76 bodies, some of them blindfolded and handcuffed.
Many of the victims had been shot and some showed signs of torture, a police officer said on condition of anonymity for safety reasons.
Sectarian fighting has swept the Iraqi capital this year, and police daily find dozens of bodies.
