MV Hebridean Isles last day ever on the Ardrossan/Brodick route (Isle of Arran) before being scrapped in November.
PART 1 of 2 (2nd part to follow in a few days)
She is 38 years old, having been launched in July 1985 and entered service for Caledonian MacBrayne the following December.
The vessel was standing in for MV Isle of Arran for a few days on the Arran route and I took the opportunity for one last go.
This video is for Alan Smith and Lee Gallacher who also travelled on this ferry today and can be spotted in this video at 9 mins 37 secs. They spend a lot of their own time travelling and generously volunteering on PS Waverley and are big fans of Calmac ferries, like me taking one last chance to board her and appreciate the vessel.
