Stage 3 was the only day of the 2019 TransRockies Classic which didn't travel point to point, but instead offered a challenging Singletrack time trail on the scenic trails of Nipika Mountain Resort. Occasional rains throughout the day made for cool damp conditions in the lush woods around the Cross River Canyon, the Kootenay River and Cochran Creek.
