Raw moolangi chutney | Hasi mulangi chutney or mooli chutney is very healthy and delicious side dish for dosa, idli and rice as well. This is vegan and gluten free(use gluten free hing or skip hing) chutney.
Moolangi/radish is very beneficial for health if eaten raw. This is the raw moolangi chutney with chillies and spices.
Ingredients:
1 medium size radish/moolangi
wash and peel the skin, grate it
around 1 1/4 cup to 1.5 cup grated moolangi
1/4 cup toor dal / Togari bele
¼ cup grated coconut
2 marble size tamarind soaked in water
5 to 6 dried red chillies (byadagi red chillies)
3/4 tsp salt or salt to taste
1 tsp jaggery
chopped coriander leaves
10 to 15 curry leaves
For seasoning:
2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1 red chilli (broken pieces)
