Heading North on the CPKC trackage to Quebec City, the Quebec Gatineau Railway leases the line and runs a few freight trains a day over this stretch. Here I'm with Elton McFall at Gouin Blvd Crossing in Ahuntsic at the Perry Island Bridge over Riviere Des Prairie.
The locomotives are ex BNSF EMD SD70MACs, recently acquired to augment their fleet of older SD40-2 engines. They are simply patched out with a line through the former owner logo. Here's hoping that the Genesee and Wyomissing orange black and yellow gets applied soon.
Also of note, Perry Island Bridge is a double track Bridge technically. Here the lines squeeze together in gauntlet track. The rails remain two tracks, but one crosses inside the other at the truss Bridge then they separate on the other end. it looks like a switch from two to one track, but there is no switch stand or movable rail.
