Two words: Candied Bacon. It's a delightful accent to all kinds of veggies. Never made it? Don't fret—this method is easy-peasy, no thermometer necessary. Chop your bacon, pan fry it, and then drain the fat once it's nice and crispy. Once you've cleaned out the pan, melt your brown sugar, and add the crisped bacon back in, coating it on all sides. For optimum crispiness, let it cool before serving. We love candied bacon mixed in with roasted broccoli, on top of cauliflower mash, or as a salad topping—look out for our BLT Salad with Romaine Hearts and Avocado Ranch Dressing, dropping tomorrow.
