Sierra Leone, with jockey Tyler Gaffalione, wins the 2024 Risen Star Stakes at the Fair Grounds Race Track. The mile and 1/8 race was won in 1:52.13. The Gun Runner colt is trained by Chad Brown and earns 50 Kentucky Derby points for the win. Runner up Track Phantom and trainer Steven Asmussen picked up 25 points for the second place finish.
