Your basement may not leak for the same reason as mine, but not all basement leaks can be fixed easily. When I tell people that our basement gets water, they ask where the water comes from and why we don't fix it. In this video, I show you that the water comes bubbling up through little pores in the basement floor, not through any visible leak. There are dozens of these pores all over the floor, I have plugged some up with leak stopper, but if it rains hard new ones always appear.

There are ways to fix this, but not easy or cheap ones. At least we cleaned up the basement in advance and opened the drain to avoid any major property damage...
