Amid diplomatic rift between India and Canada ties over Trudeau's allegations, Khalistanis once again revealed their ugly fangs. Khalistan supporters protested outside the Indian Consulate in Vancouver on September 25. The protest was held against the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The extremists waved Khalistan flags, played music, and shouted slogans outside the Consulate. Protesters called Nijjar’s killing an “assassination” and called for a public inquiry into the case, reported Canada-based CTV News. Meanwhile, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury strongly condemned the heinous act of Khalistan supporters. Earlier this month, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor gave a point by point rebuttal to Justin Trudeau allegations. After Trudeau’s allegations of India’s involvement in Khalistani leader Hardeep Nijjar, MEA hit back and slammed the Canadian govt for ‘giving safe haven to terrorists’.
