Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has told TVP World in an exclusive interview with our very own Sascha Farbach that she has no intention of becoming a president in exile. Georgian lawmakers elected Mikheil Kavelashvili, a hardline critic of the West, as the new president, setting him up to replace the pro-Western incumbent. They are also calling for “targeted sanctions against those responsible for anti-democratic actions”. Where do the pre-democracy protestors go from here? Givi Gigitashvili, a research associate at DFRLab, at the Atlantic Council joined TVP World to explore this.
