Transaction Reader Response theory is a major concept of Reader-Response Theory. This idea was developed by three major theorists Louise Rosenblatt, Wayne C. Booth, and Wolf Gang Iser.
Transactional Reader Response Theory unlike the New Criticism considers the reading process as a transaction between Reader and Text. Reader and Text both act activity in the process of meaning-making of a text.
In this lecture, we will deal with the ideas of Louise Rosenblatt in the context of the Transactional Reader Response Theory.
