President Yoweri Museveni has urged leaders in Teso sub-region to prioritise the fight against land fragmentation in the region to foster sustainable development.
While addressing a gathering at the home of the Vice President, Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo, in Katakwi town council, Ngariam county, Katakwi District, Museveni emphasized the need for proactive leadership to address Africa’s persistent challenges.
Earlier, the president toured the Vice President’s model farm named Katakwi Intensive Farm which features poultry, piggery, fish farming, banana growing and dairy farming.
The president identified land fragmentation as a significant obstacle to development.
