Here is a quick overview of United Polaris Business Class flight between ICN - SFO on October 3rd.
Settled into my seat 7A and paid a visit to cockpit and chat with the Captain who was an OU graduate. He recognized my Aggie Ring. 👍
I have noticed they offered Pajama to flights over 12.5 hours just week prior to this flight but MAGICALLY edited to 14 plus hours this time. I suppose they are trying to reserve it for ultra long haul flights to Singapore.
Had a decent meal and dessert on my flight back. But I would suggest United Air work on its catering company for better BiBimBop. It is far worse than last year's BiBimBop I received on same flight out of Seoul. I can't complain too much as I received this upgrade without paying a dime but I just would like to see better food for their main course entrée.
Loved its dessert cart and variety of desserts being offered with some level of customization. And I must say the Crew were excellent as they were very attentive and kept brining bottles of water throughout the flight to keep me hydrated. Wonderful crew from United Airline on both trips.
Their new bedding for Polaris Class was absolutely amazing with mattress Topper, duvet, blanket, and two pillows! Even through there was no door for an extra privacy, I felt fine as I sleep on my side and the design of the pod gave high level of privacy without making it too claustrophobic. I had an excellent 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep thanks to this set up....I need their cooled memory gel pillow! LoL
After watching a movie, I had a decent breakfast (had to ask for extra syrup to moisten the French toast) and watched some more TV shows before experiencing one of the most smooth landing at SFO.
Great to be back! And overall an excellent flight experience.
