Concert „Highlanders of the World with Their Heart in Zakopane” – HUNGARY, POLAND
The first group in this segment is "Bihar Janos" from Hungary. Their peformance consists of two parts- the first a collection of Hungarian dances from Transylvania, Vajdaszentivany and Kalotaszeg, as well as the Dunatul area in Hungary. The second part is a modern and thematic folk inspired choreography. The Polish group performing in this online spectacle is the local youth group under the patron name Klimek Bachleda. Their program entitled "Harnasie" take us back to the 18th and 19th Century when lads explored the tarty and carpathian mountains stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. On their arrival back to the village a party spontainously erupts and there's plenty of singing, music and dancing.
