(29 Apr 1971) Skelmersdale United and Dagenham do battle in the Amateur Cup at Wembley. It was the "Skems" last match in the amateur league before turning professional next year and what a valedictory... a four one win over the unlucky Dagenham. It was the second time that Dagenham has reached the final and has been defeated.
