How to Respond to Coaches
You should always expect the coaches to have questions for you. Here are 5 common questions coaches ask:
• What are you looking for in a college?
• Are you interested in other schools at the moment?
• Are you being recruited by other schools?
• Why are you interested in our program?
• What are your season goals?
Prepare your answers for these questions because they will come up sooner or later.
Once you’ve had your first call out of the way, the next ones become easier.
If you are a junior and are being recruited, you should follow up at least once a month with those schools
If you are a senior, it should be more frequent, every two to three weeks.
Also, once you’re a senior, communication will pick up in general, as coaches are no longer prohibited from reaching out and this is the last opportunity for both parties to make decisions

The program is operated by volunteers who have mentored over 500 student athletes through the process of high school athletics and becoming productive members of their community. In partnership with NFL players and alumni, college coaches, and non-profit organizations like Athletes in Action, we have designed a program that addresses the physical, mental and personal development of students athletes.
