This KLAV 96 train are now in-service at the mainline after 1 year completed of the testing and commissioning.

The KLAV Set 96 are also the set to arrive in Malaysia from US via Canada by air using Antonov AN-124, one of the world's largest aircraft! operated by Volga Dnepr airlines.

All the 27 sets of trains acquired under the RM1.7 billion KLAV27 project are equipped with several enhanced features in terms of their braking system, passenger doors, train management, auxiliary power supply system, and the introduction of Digital Route Map Display.
