Three Tasmanian friends set out to sea after a night of drinking in 2021 off Wynyard on the state's north-west coast and never returned, with a coroner finding they drowned.
Alcohol and meth were detected in the bodies of two of the trio, which were found in the days after the incident
A coroner has made no recommendations and found the deaths were "wholly avoidable", with no evidence of any bad weather at sea or third-party involvement.
