Many people think you have to have good credit to buy a home, but technically its not true! Of course you have to income-qualify for the loan unless it is a VA IRRRL, which is a streamline refinance, but other than that, you absolutely can get a VA loan with a great interest rate right now, even if you have credit as low as 600.
