Liberal Democrat MP Steve Darling has told Sky News that his guide dog has become a celebrity while helping him navigate the Palace of Westminster and his constituency in Devon.
Talking to Sky's Kay Burley, the MP for Torbay said his assistance dog, Jennie, "seems to light up the place" when she assists him in parliament - and constituents at his surgeries in Torquay often ask for selfies.
Mr Darling, who has a rare genetic eye condition and is registered blind, also spoke about the challenges of navigating Westminster with a visual impairment, adding that small adjustments such as improved signage can make a big difference.
