New Zealand police have moved to break up the anti-vaccine mandate protest outside parliament in Wellington. In a final act of defiance, protesters set fire to their camps as they retreated. Tents, mattresses and chairs were torched. The operation led to clashes between police and protesters. Hundreds of officers deployed shields and pepper spray as they were pelted with chairs, bottles and paint bombs. At least three officers were injured, while 60 people were arrested. The police have since retaken control of parliament grounds.
