Skinny Dip to US 276 Bridge section. Level was 1000 cfs, dropping to 600 cfs during the day at the EAST FORK PIGEON RIVER NEAR CANTON, NC gage. This is after the August 2021 flood during which the river peaked at 20,000 cfs. The footy included triple drop, after which my camera died. Downstream was most excellent, a bit of wood to deal with and many good drops. We did not run Baby Gorilla as it was an easy portage and just did not look worth the carnage potential.
