I read from and comment on Dye and Zieglar's "The Irony of Democracy," which demonstrates the pluralistic elites who run America and have shown their scaly heads in these opening months of the Trump Administration. I also refer often to Christopher Lasch's works, particularly "Revolt of the Elites and the Betrayal of Democracy," which I believe explains what went wrong with Dye and Zieglar's thesis.
