Teams of stompers and swabbies took to the stage Saturday at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair to participate in the annual World Championship Grape Stomp, which was held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa for the first time since 2019.
Some contestants wore colorful costumes, while others simply donned trash bags for the stomp. All were vying for a $1,500 grand prize, and all ended up covered in grape juice. (Video by Kent Porter/The Press Democrat)
