What's up guys!
Today I'm recreating a look from GQ the magazine and I'll be doing it on a much smaller budget. I LOVE GQ the only issue I have with them is it can be hard to create one of the outfits they put together when the total cost is anywhere between $1,000 - $2,000.
However, I've been creating budget versions of GQ outfits for quite some time now and I decided it might be a good series for the channel. If you guys enjoyed this video HIT THAT THUMBS UP and subscribe for more videos. Also feel free to message me a screenshot if you see an outfit that you would like me to do a video on!

The Pants
The trousers I picked up come from Target! I found these when they were on clearance and I got them for about $14 after tax. I did, however, end up taking them to get tailored which added another $13 to the total. The reason I needed to get them tailored is that I had to size up in order to find a pair that fit my thighs, calves, and waist properly.
The Sweater
The sweater I picked up from Express and I love it it's 100%, Merino Wool. Which basically means it's very fine and very soft. I went with a v-neck which shows off a good portion of the tie. These usually run between $50 - $70 at Express but I found a different sweater (made from cotton) that looks very similar and is even cheaper. I found it on ASOS and the link is right above!
The Jacket
The Jacket I admittedly already had which is why I went with it and I do believe you could do the same. Because of the colors of this outfit, you could easily use most black jackets (even a peacoat). The particular jacket I was wearing goes for $98 on Amazon (at the time of publishing this video) which was the cheapest I was able to find it for.

The White Dress Shirt
This particular shirt I picked up from Burlington's and it was around $20 buck which is incredibly affordable. No, it's not a premium dress shirt by any means but with an outfit like this where you're wearing it under the sweater just to show the collar and cuffs, I think that's more than ok.

The Knit Tie
Huge variety of options here so I'm going to link you to a search results page on Amazon where I picked mine up. You could pick one up that's $13 like I did or you could go for something more expensive if your budget allows it. I also chose to add a pattern on my tie since I don't have the stripes on my jacket like the GQ look does. You can always add a pattern somewhere else if you've removed one elsewhere it's all about balance baby!
