Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - Zombies - Citadelle des Morts SOLO BOSS FIGHT (Boss Fight Strategy)
Here is a video of my first completion of the Citadelle des Morts easter egg boss fight solo. I just wanted to add some more details about beating the boss ince my last video ran out of room in the description.
Basically the boss fight is all about coming in prepared. You want to come in with a few different things to make the fight much easier:
PERKS AUGMENTS - You might as well have ALL the perks but among the most important is PHD Slider. Augments will make your run much easier:
Stamin Up - Free Faller / Hard Target (no fall damage, no projectile damage while sprinting)
Quick Revive - Dying Wish (saves you from fatal damage at the cost of the Quick Revive perk)
Juggernog - Probiotic / Durable Plates (extra health, extra armor mitigation)
Melee Macchiato - Triple Shot / Strength Training (attack multiple zombies, melee lasts through higher rounds--good for swords)
PHD Slider - Tribologist (Slide further)
Deadshot - Deadhead / Deadbreak (more critical damage, more damage against armor)
Elemental Pop - Vulnera-Bean (increases elemental weakness damage)
PAP III LEGENDARY WEAPONS - The hardest thing is preparing for the boss fight without going down. Typically you will need to get into the mid 30's before you will have enough points to tripple PAP a weapon, buy all the perks, and have the salvage to make it Legendary. You want to enter the fight with at least one PAP III Legendary Weapon. Assault Rifles have been buffed and deal good damage, the SHG-89 shotgun is also a good choice. The Ray-Gun wonder weapon will work great as well.
ELEMENTAL SWORDS - The raven sword is a powerful choice for dealing damage to zombies and mini bosess with its special attack. The light sword can heal you and repair your armor with its special attack. The light sword can also heal you off damage done so it is my ideal choice for the boss fight.
GOBBLEGUMS - If you are trying to speed up getting prepared for the boss fight, some gobblegums will make it way easier:
PERKAHOLIC - all the perks
WUNDERBAR - guaranteed ray gun from the box
HIDDEN POWER - turns your weapon legendary
REIGN DROPS - spawns all the powerups (instakill for extra boss damage)
IDLE EYES - normal zombies ignore for 30 seconds
WALL POWER / CRATE POWER - free pap on weapons from wall or box
FREE FIRE - normal weapons don't need ammo for 60 seconds
WHOS KEEPING SCORE - double points, good for early preparation
KILLJOY - to deal more damage to boss or clear out elite zombies/zombies
SHEILDS UP - repairs armor, gives plates, and makes armor stronger for 30 seconds
AETHER SHROUD - is the best field upgrade. It is like a get out of jail free card. You can augment it with "Extra Charge" to get 2. Any time you get cornered you can pop it to escape.
MANGLER INJECTION - is the best killstreak to bring in as it will protect you from dying and make phase 3 much easier. You can shoot arm cannon blasts at the boss while your health slowly goes down in Mangler form.
STRATEGY - The boss fight happens in 3 phases
PHASE 1 - You want to destroy all the armor off his body covering his arms, torso, calves and legs. Once all his armor is off it won't regenerate for the rest of the fight so its best to shoot it all off during the first stage when there aren't zombies attacking. When he is weak enough he will become immune in the middle and zombies will spawn in. Train them in a circle and kill them all, pick up any armor and keep your armor up.
PHASE 2 - Once you can attack him again, use your sword during this phase to attack his legs. If you start taking damage then retreat. Killing zombies should help heal some of the damage taken but don't let your health get low. Use your Aether Shroud if you get overwhelmed and also remember the Solais special ability that allows you to heal all your armor and health instantly! When he is about 1/3 health he will go to the middle and become immune again as the arena gets smaller with fire sorrounding closing in.
PHASE 3 - The last phase you will be attacked by elite zombies, armored and normal zombies so its best to save your Mangler Injection for this phase. Weaken the boss as much as you can and when the boss is low use the Mangler Injection. You should be able to deal some decent damage with the arm cannon before you are taken out. Finish off the boss safely with everything you have left!
Hope this guide helps you guys. I found a lot of this information useful and wanted to share to anyone still struggling with the boss. Go get those early calling cards! :)
