In our last Old Delhi outing this season, we stumbled upon the best biryani that we tasted in the walled city. Getting to Taufiq Dilpasand Biryani Point requires some effort given its location in the inner recesses of Galli Haveli Azam Khan, a bit of a walk from Jama Masjid. The shop itself is a little more than a window, but the biryani that emerges from the copper pots here has endeared itself to biryani lovers in the know for a quarter of a century now.
