They're sour, but mildly so. Also, no gelatin. In a way, I made a mistake here - these are just "Sour Patch", but not "Sour Patch Kids". But I realized that so late that I didn't want to change things. The sugary, crystal goodness is more or less all the same.
For such a big box, I guess I wanted a little more variety after all. I'm so used to mixed flavors when fruit and candy are involved. But you might be different. Try some Sour Patch (Kids) for yourself!
