Cognex Label Inspection on our WT-35 rewind system

So we've got our Web Techniques WT-35 rewind system here. And as you can see here, we have our Cognex 7,000 series camera hooked up to the system and the camera's actually hooked up to a laptop where we can actually see the error presented on why the label was caught on the system and what the camera picked up, pixel-wise. So we're going to detect a couple blobs today. A tape on top of a label, a missing label, and an overlapping label, as well. So, first off, we're going to show off a blob. It's going to be a black blob here. Going to press start on the system.
All right. If you can zoom in there, you can see that there is a black mark on that label there. And if we head over to the laptop over here, you can actually see that the camera picked up a blob and the pixel count was too high. And if you go to the system here, this system, external stop detected. Simply hit acknowledge. And we're going to go on to another blob here that's going to pick up here in a couple of labels. Going to press start. Again, the camera picks up the blob. This time it's a red blob on there and we go over to our laptop. Pixel count's to high, red blob shows on the screen. System stops again. We go back to our HMI screen, external stop detected. Acknowledge. And now we're going to have an overlapping label on the right and the left side. So, the camera will pick up a higher pixel count as well. So I'm going to hit start on the system.
Again, the system stops. As you can see on the right side there it's an overlapping label. Then we go to our laptop over here. Pixel counts to high, system stops, camera picks it up. And again, you hit acknowledge. And right away here, it's going to hit the left side of the overlapping label right away as you can see. So the left side of that overlapping label there, same thing. High pixel count. We go to the laptop, again, high pixel count, it's the left side of the overlapping label. Hit acknowledge. And you can go ahead and start the system again.
And if you can see here, this time we have a couple pieces of tape on top of this label. So obviously there's not enough pixel count here. So the system detects that, as well as the Cognex camera. And again, we go over to the HMI, acknowledge. And we're going to have a couple of missing labels come up here that's not going to have enough pixel count and it's not to going to show anything there. As you can see the system stops again. Camera picks up that there's no label there. Go back to our laptop, no label there again, hit acknowledge.
And we're going to hit start again and we hit another missing label. So that's two missing labels in a row. The Cognex camera catches it again. Not enough pixels, nothing there, no label there, shows a missing label. Now we're going to go over to our system, hit acknowledge.
So now that we've shown you all the defects from blobs, missing label, tape on top of the label, as well as an overlapping label. You can now go through the rest of the role. It doesn't look like there's any more defects. So I'm just going to press star here. And that is our Web Techniques WT-35 Rewind System with a Cognex camera.
