KTEL (“Common Funds of Bus Proceeds") is the main intercity public transport bus service in Greece.
It took almost ten days from the launch of the first KTEL vehicle on OASA lines in order to complete the planning of the partnership between the two organizations. The main goal of this project (integration of KTEL vehicles to OASA network) is to strengthen the transport project of Attica. By the end of November, the completion of a project concession to KTEL is expected to last for two years.
This partnership was deemed necessary and effective, as it includes a total of 200 vehicles and 550 additional drivers on a daily basis in the OASA urban transport system. At the same time, according to the OASA, 100% of the execution of the itineraries with improved time distances is achieved, while a reduction of the waiting time of the passengers is expected throughout the Organization's network.
This is one of the articulated vehicles of KTEL of Chania And Rethymno, Crete running on bus line 122.
