Iranians took to the streets for a second day in a row to demonstrate against the country's admission it shot down an Ukrainian passenger plane.
Despite a heavy police presence, demonstrators shouted anti-government slogans and vented their anger at the loss of innocent lives.
The plane was travelling to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, when it was shot down early on Wednesday near Tehran.
It came down shortly after Iran fired ballistic missiles at two bases in Iraq housing American forces.
Authorities finally admitted to accidentally shooting it down in the face of mounting evidence.
