We’re on a mission to save wild dolphins, but first, we need to learn how to assess their health.
That’s where PHASM: Passive Health Assessment in Sea Mammals comes in. This research, conducted at Dolphin Quest and seven years in the making, is led by Dr. Jamey Jacob from Oklahoma State University’s Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education, and Dr. Jason Bruck from Stephen F. Austin State University, along with their respective teams. Utilizing drone-based technology, we aim to revolutionize monitoring the health of wild dolphin populations. The collaboration between dolphins, caregivers, and scientists is nurtured in Dolphin Quest's pristine ocean-fed saltwater lagoons.
The trust between dolphins, caregivers, and scientists is nurtured in Dolphin Quest's expansive ocean-fed saltwater lagoons. Together, we’re dedicated to making groundbreaking discoveries and ensuring the protection and conservation of dolphins in the wild. Click the link to the full video in our bio to learn more!
