Today we are driving scenario 9B95 18.48 London Waterloo to Poole, between Southampton Central and Bournemouth. We stop at Brockenhurst and New Milton along the way.

The class 442 South Western Railway pack is available at Vulcan Productions, it requires the DTG Gatwick Express add-on from Steam and also utilises the AP 442 Sound Pack Pro.

This is an EMU that I don't drive very often, but with its unusual 80's design and character, it is rather charming. The speedo needle wobbles and the Master Cylinder gauge drops when the air horn is blasted, which adds further to the immersion in the simulator.

The EP / Auto brakes can be a challenge, too. It certainly takes a few goes to get to grips with them and hitting your brake markers is all part of the fun.
