The World Water Forum held every three years and co-hosted by the World Water Council and a host country, is one of the largest water-related gatherings in the world involving various stakeholders for providing water solutions. The 10th edition of the World Water Forum will be co-hosted by the World Water Council and the Republic of Indonesia, which is set to take place from May 18th to 24th, 2024 in Bali, Indonesia, under the theme of “Water for Shared Prosperity”.
Through the 10th Forum Processes, including Political, Thematic, and Regional, this side event will briefly provide significant updates and progress about the preparation of the 10th Forum, highlighting different critical water-related topics and challenges globally, aligning with the Stockholm World Water Week 2023 discussions. This will highlight how different stakeholders can engage and contribute to achieving the desired outcome of putting water at the top of the global political agenda through proper planning, firm commitments, and concrete actions.
This session will share the concepts of the six sub-themes of the Thematic Process of the 10th World Water Forum and the related topics identified by water sector stakeholders. It will also provide detailed information on how the 10th Forum will be organized with various working groups on diverse topics and regional issues through thematic and regional processes.
