Kandi Spangler is a 2-time U.S. Women's BMW GS Trophy Team Member in both 2019 and again in 2021. She also competed in the International Female Qualifier in Malaga Spain in 2019. Though she has never made it all the way to the International GS Trophy, Kandi created these videos to help others who are interested in trying out for the GS Trophy through their regional Qualifier, whether you're male or female, tall or short - she simply wants to share her passion for adventure riding.

WHY I’M HERE. I’m not sponsored; I’m not paid to do this. The reason for the videos, the posts and sharing my journey: because I was fortunate enough to have people in my life show ME what I was capable of. I’m 5’2” on a big adventure bike riding at competition level. And I’m not “naturally gifted” either. I work hard at it… every, damn, year. The reason I’m on here is to show you what YOU are capable of, and to give YOU the tools and tips you need to succeed. Proper training, whether you do it on your own or work with a reputable training organization, directly correlates to your ultimate enjoyment of any motorcycle adventure.
This isn’t my day job; but it is my passion. And I look forward to sharing it with you.
Special thanks to my trainers:
- Louise Coleen Powers
- Caroline Stevenson
- Jocelin Snow
- Dusty Wessels
- Bettina Nedel
And the best teammate there ever was... Lisa Taylor
