Elissa Chott specializes in helping landowners in western Montana coexist with beavers by resolving conflicts using nonlethal methods. She is the Program Manager for the Beaver Conflict Resolution Project, a collaboration between Defenders of Wildlife, National Wildlife Federation, and Clark Fork Coalition. With a background in bear conflict mitigation, Elissa has worked with various landowners, both public and private, on how to coexist with wildlife for over nine years. She holds a MS in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.
