Day 2 of my week-long Canadian dirt bike riding trip started with an hour-long van ride to private ranch land: home to some of the most pristine, unmolested, and most difficult singletrack on the planet. This is true Canadian forest singletrack: creek crossings, log hops, steep hills, muddy descents, and just about everything my little Honda CRF250F could handle (and some it couldn't). This was the hardest dirt bike trail riding of my life.

I'm not going to lie, I strongly considered giving up and quitting on day 2. Riding dirt bikes on singletrack like this is a dream come true, but I was also quickly finding the limits of my dirt bike riding skills and physical endurance. It was an honor to get to tackle these private single track trails in Canada, but the difficulty was quite a bit more than this Dork was prepared to handle.
