What’s up everybody, my name is Jaspreet Singh & welcome to the minority mindset. You guys already know I say what needs to be said to get to the point, I don’t try to sugar coat things. So today I wanted to talk about one thing that I cannot stand - when people make excuses for themselves.
I’m going to just lay this on the table right now. Life is not fair. Some of us have to work harder than others to get the same thing. Period. So now you can do one of two things:
You can complain about it and cry about how its unfair.
Or you can say aight screw it, I’ll work harder and do what it takes to get what I want.
Whatever your excuse is, someone has already overcome it.
Growing up with no opportunity, no hope, and no money? Oprah did it, she grew up so poor she wore potato sacs as dresses, she was raped when she was 9. When she was 14 she was molested by her cousin uncle, got pregnant which led to a miscarriage and had to run away from home because no one supported her. Now shes worth 2.9 billion.
Don’t have enough money to start a business? HP was started with $538 in start up capital. Now they are worth 56 billion.
Business not going well? Coke sold only 25 bottles of coke their first year, now 1.8 billion coca cola products are consumed a day.
people doubting you telling you that you can’t do it because it’s not for you, with parents who don’t want to associate themselves with you and what you’re doing, with no start up money with no experience, with no knowledge? Been there, done that.
Stop wasting time making excuses. And stop wasting everyone else’s time complaining about your excuses. That’s not the minority mindset, that’s a horrible mindset.
Try to go 21 days without making a single excuse as to why you can’t do something. When you stop verbalizing your excuses and your complaints, you’ll force yourself to change the way you think and change your mindset.
Every single person in this world faces adversity but you only have one life to live so spend your time wisely. Our time on this earth is short, don’t throw it away feeling bad for yourself. That’s it, no more of that.
I can’t really explain it, but you have to just know you can do it and just do it. Surround yourself with positive vibes and positive people and Listen to motivational talks every day keep yourself focused and keep going.
