I wanted to depict Alastor more towards his description which I feel is definitely lacking in his actual design - I like his current design but I definitely disagree with it matching his description and obviously this is more of a take with my style not so much the shows style like I have been doing with my previous shorts. I went a wendigo route since in my opinion fits him perfectly with the speculation of being a cannibal and also having the visual appearance of a deer; I will be posting a color version within his current color scheme for the final product.
I've done a handful of gender swaps for this universe of characters but my personal preference when it comes to character design is more of a creature format; fun fact, my birthday is Halloween and I heavily love the spooky theme. I enjoy horror esk content so for this next month I'll be putting out creature design shorts. I will say, this design took me a while to put together and I'm currently still working on the color which I will work on to post by tomorrow (still havent touched the render for the 4th of July layout so that will still come out late). I might still put out the simple character design style I was before along side these creature formats to keep up the daily posts. (I look forward to trying the angeldust creature design next 👀)
